Jack’s House in the coastal town of Tywyn is perfect for any time of year, with a patio with seating and a barbecue for the warmer evenings. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences including a coffee machine and an American-style fridge/freezer, and with seven bedrooms in total , three with en-suites, and a further bathrooms and a shower room, all with their own walk-in shower.
Local pubs, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance of the house along with The Magic Lantern Cinema which is well worth a visit. Why not take the Wales Coast Path north, over the Dysynni river and towards the ruins of the old army camp in Tonfannau. A short drive east along the winding Bro Dysynni Valley will take you to the imposing and majestic Craig yr Aderyn (Bird Rock) and the silence and tranquility of Castell y Bere castle. Or you can take the Talyllyn Railway steam train from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn, and explore the many paths and ridges of this quiet, spectacular corner of Wales.If you don’t want to travel by car or public transport, it’s possible to walk to nearby Aberdyfi along the sandy beach. You will find a bustling, chocolate-box pretty harbour village. Also within easy walking distance is Ynysmaengwyn park and woodland, the site of a ruined mansion. Jack’s House is also only 30 miles from Snowdonia National Park.
